I've installed a D17 engine in a 55 WD-45. All is good except the front crankshaft pulley is too long. I've instead installed the WD45 pulley and water pump. This allows better clearance for the radiator, but now I can't get the crank tapered bolt to line up. Should I have the WD pulley milled to line it up or ? Any suggestions are sure welcome.

You need to make a 1 inch spacer plate between the water pump and the block. The fan will be 1 inch closer to the radiator but it will all work.
