Tractor hydraulics on a 1959 D17 went south a while ago, but am going to send it to local wrench for repair as I don't have time to lie in the dirt getting it out. Trouble is, local wrench has a habit of making mountains out of molehills and I don't need another big fat bill landing on me. Anybody have any ideas on how long it takes to get these things out, fix and in? The pump always was noisy, but fluids were kept fresh and clean. The rest of the tractor is real good, so there is no way its' gonna get junked.
Thanks

Tom, I can R & R the pump in my D14 in adout an hour, as far as rebuilding goes, I would guess 3 hours should be close. Once you do a couple of them pumps, there is not alot to them
