I have heard that the top speed is about 15mph with this tractor, with what size tires would this be? Also, would this tractor have a faster or slower road speed than a D17/19 or a 170/175 diesels? The charts rate it around 13mph at rated speed, what is the hight idle of this tractor? Is the allis 200 or 7000 faster than the 190xt? The reason I ask is because this tractor would probably be used on the road some to earn back money that I spent on the tractor. Also, is there a way to make it go faster in 8th, like a different gear or something? Thanks for your help.

Standard tread on a 190XT is 18.4-34. 13.6 was top speed with the standard tires. 180 top speed was 14.5. 170 top speed was 13.3. 175 was 13.7. D-17 was 12. D-19 was 13.9. I don't think the speed difference is significant.
