When you first start the tractor it will not produce hydraulic pressure until you bleed the pump. It seems that there is a few discussions on this but not a lot of information on how to fix it. Can it be suction problem. Thanks for your help.

There is a filter (internal) in the sump and a pto relief valve in the fitting for the pump suction line at the sump. Also check the suction line for pinholes and at the rubber hose connection at the pump. Pump may be getting weak also. They are located in a bad spot as far as getting oil right away and run dry until suction is picked up.

New pump can be expensive, rebuild is too.
