Fram Filter Cartridge Question

Aloha, I have a Fram diesel filter and on the housing it says to use a fram replacement cartridge C-1184RO. It says on the housing that this filter replaces Allis Chalmers # 048068 fuel filter. I tried to cross match the Allis Chalmers # and it came up with a wix 33511 filter but nobody sells the wix filter over here. I also can't find the Fram filter so does anyone know the cross match # for NAPA's filter? TIA

My NAPA guy noted to me that NAPA uses Wix filters under the NAPA logo as noted above. He said that you just drop the first digit off the Wix number and the remaing four digits is the correct NAPA filter number. So ask NAPA for a 3511 filter. That gave me the correct oil filter for my Oliver 77 that i am restoring.

Aloha Jackal5, Thanks for looking and I tried doing a search at the NAPA site earlier and came up with the same results as you. I guess I will have to find a filter by matching the dimensions. TIA

Aloha Hurst, Thanks for the link and suggestion. I tried my local Carquest with the numbers that I found and they had it at their warehouse. I bought one for $5.78 so if anyone needs one, here are the numbers. TIA
