After spending a few hours on my c with two direction plow today, I came to the realization that I must rebuild the hydraulics in my C. I think the R/L valve and the seals in the cylinder need done. Has anyone else done this? Will my local agco be able to get the parts?

Will a manual help me very much?

Steve, is your manual specific to the hydraulics? I have looked online a bit at the general manuals for the C series and with so few pages they do not look like they can cover much detailed info.

i have a IT manual, i think it is AC-11, not at my desk right now. it covers the B-C-CA, WD, 45 tractors. pretty decent manual. Has an exploded view of the hydraulics for the B-C, another for the CA, and seperate for the WD. also has transmission, engine, magnito, differential teardowns. I think i got mine at Farm STore locally. also seen them on E-bay. the B-C service manual is pretty good. you can find it on e-bay also. photo is a not quite as good, but explanination is adequte.

if you are talking about the factory hydraulic valve/pump on the righ treat corner of the pto housing, yes i am doing it now. mine quite raising. i found two broken springs inside under the tow 3/4 inch plugs that go down from the top. inside there are spools and a couple check balls. mostly dirty / stuck, but not broken. i bought a new shaft seal and two springs from AGCO for $10. -- yes you need a book. couple of the spools do not pop out, they must be pulled with a threaded puller. the rotating shaft also has alittle trick for installation.
