I need advice on a 190XT

It's a 1969 AC 190XT with a rebuilt Engine, Injection pump, Starter, Alt, and a new turbo and brakes. This is all I know of this tractor so far I have yet to see it. I was wondering what sort of things I should look for. What are some trouble spots on this model tractor. He says it's 115Hp is that accurate? Is this a good model of a tractor? The rear tires are worn and need replaced. What would be a fair price? I live in Ohio.

I have used a 200 a lot, which is real similar. I love the engine, it has amazing power, starts easy, and just runs real well. Overall the tractor is a pulling machine, it will outpull anything else i have used that is near its size, and make it look easy. The power director has always given trouble, even after being rebuilt. It doesn't have live pto through the clutch, only through the power director, which I don't like. For pulling a disc, it is a tractor and a half. For baling hay, I like other tractors better.

The 190XT diesel was 93.4 hp rated. Most put out over 100. A 1969 should be a series II I think. Large axles etc. Look for jumping out of gear. A great tractor. I run both a round and a square baler with mine on 40 ac of hay. A little large for the square baler, but the baler doesn't shake you to death.

Neb test rate it at around 98HP, but it may be turned up. Trouble sopts are in the tranny the early ones had troubles series 1. The trouble was that after they got a little older they would jump out of a few of the gears. There a nice big tractor and will pull strong, only reason I don't have one any more it was a little over kill for my land

44 and only half is pasture, the 190XT I had played with the baler I have, an 850 NH but as I said it was just to big. Other wise I loved the 190XT

I have a 190 xt and love it. You need to drive it in low then go to high gear without moving the shifter make sure the speed is different. Also make him hook to something heavy with the three pt hitch and make sure it picks what ever up and it stays up. If not it could be as simple as a shim in the sring on the hydro pump valve. But all in all I love my tractor. One other thing and the most important is make sure that the hydro fliud is not dumping itself over into the transmission fluid. This is a problem with these tractors and if this is so you must split them apart to fix it right. I also have all the manuels for this tractor and I an in the process of putting it all on a disc and am willing to sell the copies if interested. Excess the miss spelling or the run on sentences its geing late. Nathan ps don't let what I have said scare you cause it is a really good tractor and mine has 115 hp also.
