D14 hydraulics info

Hello all. I just fired up my D14 today and it seems That the hydrulic pump will not kick out. When I started it the lift arms went all the way to the top, but the pump never kicked out, as it kept pumping and blew the line. So I fixed that and with the tractor off, i moved the lift lever all the way doen and tried to push the arms down, but the wont go down. I have had this tractor all apart and the traction booster linkage going from the drawbar spring up to the bottom of the hydrualic cover is not adjusted. The book says that the tractor has to be running for this to be adjusted, but i cant start it without blowing something out. I did adjust the small linkage beind the dash according to the book. I did pull the cover off and the hold postion vlave seems to be operating normally. Am i going to have to pull this pump back out and if so what do I look for?

No reply from anybody..... everyone must still be thinking on this one. I think the problem lies with the traction booster linkage. I pulled the cover off and the traction booster linkage is holding the spool in.

Looks like I have stumpped everybody on this one. After thinking about it for a while, I think the problem is with the valve spool itself

Problem solved. Linkage adjustment on the link going from the drawbar spring to the hyd pump
