Hello, I just installed a new Zenith carb on my wd45..... ..

I think its in the linkage somewhere..

Here is what it is doing, after startup it goes directly to (supersonic) full throttle

any suggestions as to baseline linkage settings????

Sounds like the throttle butterfly on the new carb. is backwards. I did a carb. replacement on a tractor one time and it did the same thing. Come to find out the carb went to full throttle upon start up. Found out the carb. operated in the oposite direction as the gov. linkage. If you take the throttle butterfly off and turn the rod 180 degrees and reinstall the butterfly it should work.
