Was over on AgTalk and saw a post about WD45's, and I have been thinking about this for sometime. I am mostly a green guy, but know this would be of interest to someone on this page. Everyday as I leave work, I see the same old lonely machine inside a fenced lot. It is what looks to be a factory installation of a grader kit on a WD or WC chasis. The front axle is cast and stretched out quite a ways. The front wheels have cast weights installed. The raise and angle all look to be manual operated with hand wheels and chains. Of course, the tires are shot and it does not look like it has been moved in 20 years.

I would think this might be a really valuable find for the right guy. If I had the time and knowledge about AC tractors, I might even be tempted to tackle it myself. But this would seem to be a collectors item that needs to be in the right hands. I would think it pretty rare. I might entertain a finders fee, but really think the most important thing is to have this piece of history saved.

Let me know your thoughts.

Sounds like a speed patrol, built on a wc . I would be interested if you would give me a call at 918 789 3293 or drop me an e-mail. Thanks Bob

Shoot me an e-mail. I don't answer at home that ofter, but will check in the next couple of days. Where are you located? If needed, I could try to do some leg work for you.

Very likely a "W" Patrol. They used the basic Allis 4" x 4" engine used in many of their tractors and parts are still available. Easy to work on. Quite rare now, I looked for 30 years before I found mine..
