We have a 7030 Allis, it up and died one day. It starts, but doesn't move. He split the tractor thinking it was the Hi-LO, it wasn't. He replaced the hydraulic pump, and checked the valve. He put it back together, and still does not move. He's at his wits end! It also makes a whining noise. If anybody has any ideas please email us, we are getting desparate, we need the tractor up and running again Thanks

Hi, Did you discover the problem with your 7030, mine just did the same thing the other day. My transmission oil pressure light came on and I lost all hydraulics, including the power steering and the loader. Also it won"t move. So far I haven"t found the problem.

The splines in the power director hub are stripped out.

Torque limiter in good shape, and the range transmission is in gear. Pump was replaced because he thought there was lack of pressure (power) to power direct. We took pump to a shop, they said it was junk. Trector whines, and you can put it in any gear, no grinding, don't push clutch down, can do this in hi, lo, and park. Any ideas, he doesn't want to have to split again, it's quite the job. Let me know. Thanks Bill

I call this the inching valve or power direct valve. At idle it is 195, at 2000rpm it is 225. If that helps.

Have you encountered this before? We had a so called professional go thru the power direct, assumed ok, so didn't check splines. Shaft was good. Maybe the place overlooked something in power direct.
