Could someone tell me where the two brass throwout rings go on the crank? The picture in the IT is not very clear. Does one go on one side of the main bearing and the other on the opposite side? I tried putting them both on the outside of the bearing and there only seems to be room for one. Thankyou,

I'm at work so I can't send you a page from my manual till Sunday. One on each side, and the inside taper on both face the #1 throw, if I remember right. Crank pulley is shimmed to set end play. Good luck and e-mail me if you need page.

I"ve got the engine out of my G right now, just went down to the shop to look and be sure. There is a thrust (brass) on both sides of the main bearing cap. Picture avail if needed.
