What would be the correct size front and rear tires for a WC with factory spoked wheels ?
Thanks

per 1951 wards catalog 11.25 x 24 transwered up to 13x24 and that later transfered up to 14.9x24 so even tho people think the 13.6 looks better it is too small in width or height to equal orignal and with anything less you will lose speed and they are slow to start with

Miller would not have that size, what they would have is 11.2x24 and that was the old 10x24 and there was no size to compair that with before, the 9.00x24 converted up to 11x24 and new size on that is 12.4x24

Original Factory rears were 11.25-24s. Miller tire has that size. They looked like a better fit than the 13.6-24s we used later.

I assume Miller's 11.25's are measured from sidewall to sidewall versus the original 11.25's that were true tread width? If this is true Millers 11.2's would seem to be too narrow?

I don't know. A call to them should clear that up. I know that when our original 11.25s needed replacement, the 13.6s just looked a little too wide but things have changed since then.

Front 5.50-16, rear, most people go with a 14.9-24. I think a 13.6-24 would look a little better on it, but they cost a lot more than the 14.9's
