price on a wd

I was at the feed store this am getting a roll of hay and about a ton of feed. I noticed a WD with a 5' hog on it parked next to the building. I walked over and smelled it. Had a cobbled up ( but heavy and working) 3pt hitch on it... 8v battery.. new starter.. and otherwise looked good. No real leaks anywhere. The usualy amout of rust.. some welded up power adjust rims.. etc.

The steering is a tad loose.. but still serviceable.. 1/4 turn or less play. Front rubber is 65% rear is also about 65% both rear rims are weled up power adjusts.. One looks great otherwise.. the other has been rusted badly at some point.. but cleaned up then painted. No holes....
Hood sheet metal is straight and complete , battery box has some cancer.. and no top. Fenders have assorted rust holes. and a ding or two.

Store owner came out and said it was on consignment from a ccustomer for a 'good' price.. but didn't have that price with him.. so I'll call back later.

Mower was old.. and had been rusty.. was cleaned up and painted.. long time ago. No rust holes.. just pitting. no leaks on the gearbox.. Some weld repairs on the rear tail wheel hanger.. old but solid...

So what's a 'good' price on what I just described?

In Missouri, where there are thousands and thousands of WD's, it would have to be a REALLY GOOD WD to bring anything over $1000. $800 is much more the going range for good running WD's, ones that don't jump out of gear. The one you are telling about is a little below average as I am picturing it. Of course you don't know about how it runs or about the gears, brakes or hydraulics yet. But if they are OK, and if it's a narrow front tractor, it sounds more like a $650-700 tractor around here. Old, working but welded brush hog, maybe $200-300 depending on brand and how heavy duty it is.

depends on what part of the country your from. From my area $1000.00 to$1250.00 would be a "fair to good" price.

Depending on condition. Most WD's go $1000 to $1500 in Pa.
