Ok, I need some pointers. I have a 53 CA, and I cannot get the lower radiator hose where it attaches to the water pump to quit leaking. I managed to slow it down by cleaning off rust, using new clamps, etc. but it still drips. I experimented with moving the hose further on and further off the water pump, and even tried some "right stuff" in the hose. Has anyone else had this problem, or am I special?

I have a 51 CA and the bottom hose did the same thing I talked too a old Mechanic at Chinn here in Indiana at a AGCO dealer and he Told me too Go to Plumbing store and get a PVC glue called Quick Blue it is used in soft PVC sprikler fittings and put it on flange liberaly and slide hose twist and clamp, And I havent seen a leak yet even with shutters closed and pushing snow.Dont know about summer yet but its great this winter.

Wild Bill, my 55"CA has the same problem, just not all the time. When the weather and engine is cold it constantly drips. After the engine warms the leak stops. I have moved, shifted, tightned, and cussed but I have not found the fix yet so I"m watching and listening too!
