I got it for about 4 years. It is okay, but not worth the money. If you haven't gotten any others you might find it good. This would be because you have nothing to compare it to.

Hey Soundguy. I agree with you that it seems like they are kinda proud of it! But I recently sent in my $25, now waiting on first issue. I figured I'd venture the moola one time and see what's what. If it isn't worth it, I won't renew. I get the N-News and Ferguson Furrows and both of them are less expensive and both are very good, so I'm going to be a tough sell for the second year unless it's a darn good rag.

An excellent publication with good articles on current and past interests. It, however, always arrives very late, hence the items in the classifieds are usually already gone when you call them.

I subscribed to this magazine for about 5 years. I really looked forward to every issue and every article was well enough done that it was easy reading and interesting. I never got anything out of the classified ads but I found them interesting - seeing what people wanted for their stuff. Also got some lines on who might have used parts from the regular ads which I did patronize. I quit subscribing about 2 years ago and I do miss the magazine.

We've subscribed for about 6-7 years now. Very enjoyable magazine with lots of variety: company history, reader's feedback and projects, specific focus on one machine each issue, classifieds, etc. We like it a lot!

I have been receiving this magazine for years. I never thought of whether or not it was worth the price. If you are an AC enthusiast, then I think that it is a must, and price doesn't matter. I don't think that it is overpriced, if you consider the cost of the printing and the mailing. It has a small circulation, so a higher price is required. Reading about Allis Chalmers is like making love, when its good, it good, when its bad, its still good, and price is generally the last of your thoughts. Just my 2 cents.
