Friend of mine has a wd45 that the lift arms won't go down, also if you hook up a remote cylinder it will blow the seals out of the cylinder.Any help is appreciated since I'm a farmall owner. Thanks!

Mine has the same problem. I am pretty sure it is a linkage problem but haven"t had time to figure it out. I may not have to if somebody will bid on it (eBay item 3876197646).

The lift arms may not go down on their own. the reason you blow the seals the WD45 is high presure, like 3500 psi. you may be useing a low presure cylinder, not an AC cylinder. You will need the high presure cylinder made for AC before 1959.

When you said they may not go down, how are you supposed to hook up your plow,or blade? We can't force them down.

BW meant they won't typically lowerr on their own without a load when you pull the lever down... If you can't force them down, you definitely have a problem and I'm sorry, but I don't have the knowledge to help you farther than that.... Good luck and I'm sure there'll be someone pipe up that knows these tractors better than me.

Greg
