In the years allis made the B did it ever have a fuel pump on the engine I found a motor and beside the oil dipstick there is a place that looks like where a fuel pump would go If not someone please tell me what goes here Thanks Roger

If the arrow shaped area beside the oil dip stick as in the picture, It showed up when the CA"s came out.

Roger The block on your B with the fuel pump mounting is not the origonal block it came off of a power unit. This block was used in several tractors, combines and power units for many years and some of the power units had remote tanks and pumps. steve

I have a 1953 B that has the flat spot that you have mentioned. The block in this tractor is original. The used a fuel pump on some of the power units. Apparently, they cast the block with the flat spot, but only used it on engines for power units.
