I"m thinking of selling an AC IB tractor, runs and has a front hydralic blade on it, and wheel weights does anyone know the going price of these? What is the exact number built, from looking at serial numbers, it seems to be 1800 of them.

I've heard of an IB I saw a guy that had one once, I wouldn't have given him a plug nickel for one of those junkers, have you seen them I mean there hideous, my opinoun Jay5 is that you should scrap it or just give it away.cause its a scraper

prior to the war, the IB was made on the B assembly line and shared the B serial number. You could have 1939 to 1945 with a B serial number, probably 1-2000 made. AFter the war the IB got its own serial number starting with 1001 and ending in the 3500 range so an additional 2500 were made from 1946 to 1956. You dont see too many advertised below $2000. Restored would be twice that or better.

Prior to 1946, there were 260 IB tractors with B serial numbers, interspersed starting at B 31101 (Nov 1939). As mentioned above, IB 1001 started new numbering, went up past 3800....

If you want to scrap it out, lots of guys on AC com would be happy to take it off your hands....
