AC-C Hot Stall fix

For anyone who is interested, I've been dealing with the stalling while hot problem. My 1941 AC-C was converted to 12v. by the previous owner. He also modified the ignition to a point-coil ignition using the magneto distributor. It would stall when it warmed up. I replaced first the coil and then the condenser. This time it lasted a whole day mowing before dying. The coil was replaced again and it runs. (But for how long?) At least the hot stall problem is fixed. As far as the dead coil problem, it was suggested that solid conductor wires work better. Well, perhaps this weekend.
