A WD block has removable side plates on the block behind the carb. A WD-45 block does not have these plates, the block is solid in this area. In the 50 plus years since the tractors were build, many WD blocks have been put on WD-45 tractors and maybe even more WD-45 blocks have been put on WD tractors. I'm sorry I don't know what your part numbers stand for. It has been fairly standard practice for years and years to upgrade WD engines with WD-45 internal parts like cranks, pistons and sleeves.

John there is only one side plate on the 'WD' engine and it is on the mag (right) side of the engine.
