MY D17 tractor has a bad rearend & transmission and i am looking for a D17 WD WD45 and possibly a 170 or 175 to put it in. know of any?

yes i would sell motor but i have a lot in it. i also have new clutch pressure plate, throw out bearing. all for 1500.00 i have 2000.00 in it

I have a D-17 only problem is its got a good engine. sorry a motor is run with elec. But any how you could buy my D-17 and have a spare engine

Mostly agree with you. Will add that you can have a hydraulic, or air motor. Motor means that the energy is made somewhere else and sent to the motor. Engine makes the energy right there. I agree though, is somewhat anoying when people refer to "motor" all the time when they mean engine. Even "motor mounts" for vehicles is not correct, how did that one get going?

Well yes but also diesel, or any other fuel that is burned makes it an engine.
