I am looking at purchasing a couple of Allis B's and have not owned one before. A couple of questions:

1. Any good reference website with pic's and spec information? Any years or options I should be looking for or avoid?

2. These are small tractors and it appears that impliments were designed specifically for this tractor? I am thinking of putting a belly-mount mower on one to rough cut horse pasture. How wide can this tractor handle?

3. They don't appear to have PTO or drawbars...Is this an option?

the B is a very nice small tractor. they were built from 1937 to 1958 or over 20 years. robably built about 200,000 tractors. --- the first couple years had a 116 inch motor, then in 1940 it was changed to the CE or 125 motor, same as the "new" C tractor. ---- early tractors did not have starters.--- most tractors had PTO shaft, especially after 1940.--- early tractors did not have hydraualics, most did later after 1945 or so.---- all of them are good, you normally get more options if you get one made after the war, 1946 and up.--- I have a couple of them. 6 ft mower deck will do finsih grass about 6 inches deep. 5 ft deck will do weeds and thin grass up to knee high. if you are cutting 2 ft tall stuff you problaby want a 4 ft deck and pto mounted, not belly mower type.--- this is a good site and vendor parts here are plentiful. another site is allischalmers dot com. lots of very knowledgable guys over there. have fun. ask more questions.
