Hey Allis guys, here latly Ive seen ca advertised as 1941 and 1944 and there is a couple of local dealers that tell me that some were made in 1948 I think they just plain lost there minds. I was under the impression that they were started in 1950 can you guys settle this I,m still new too the AC but I think these guys are wrong Thanks mine is a 51 and I thought that was the second year

Swinford and other books indicate first CA was s/n 12 in 1950 with 321 being last 1950 - major production started in 1951 at s/n 322. Not sure whaty happened to 1st 11 s/n, but model C was built as early as 1940 with major production beginning at s/n 112 in 1941. Main differences in C vs CA was CA had a second clutch for live PTO (hand clutch on right of platform), the presence of a platform with non-bench seat, 4 speed trans vs 3 speed, and power adjust rear wheels. Same CE motor used in both as well as B's after mid forties.
