We have an old AC HD-7 tractor that stopped running many years ago. When it was last parked, it did run, but I think we have a electrical problem. Its a positive to ground system. I'd like to get it back operational.

1. Can anyone describe the basic electrical ignition system for me so I can check to see if it works.

2. Can anyone suggest methods to wake the diesel engine. For instance with a gasoline engine, I would pour penetrating oil through the spark plug holes to break the pistons free. Any advice would be helpful.
