Future Allis B owner?

Me and my Ford 861 usually post on the Ford board, BUT!!, I am going to look at a supposedly "fully reconditioned" 1941 B with a 48" belly mower and "other attachments". I'm in CT and they're asking $1500. Any thoughts from those that love Allis??

PS, whats on the rear end of those things? ie: cat. one three point hitch, pto, anything, etc.

If you plan on using any mounted "other attachments", better leave half a day open on your dance card to get that mower off, or on as the case may be.

If it's a crank start, you may want to brush up on that procedure. There are right and wrong ways to crank an engine.

The B is a solid little tractor and they seem to last forever. That Ford of yours is going to seem really modern by comparison.
