A 230 gas or diesel block won't work with 262 sleeves gas or deisel the 230 o rings for the sleeves are in the block and the 262s are on the sleeves gleaner a2 or c &c2 have same block as D19 and are plentyfull at least around here

My father-in-law is needing a CII Gleaner diesel engine to put in a D19. We are located in NE Oklahoma and these engines are hard to find down here. Any leads appreciated.

Thanks, didn't get to that part of checking out yet. I just checked the gaskets and bearing sizes to this point. Doubt that we'll find any old Gleaners around here. Wonder if the block can be bored in the o-ring area for the 262 sleeves? Do you know if they are different bores in the sealing area?

ANON I think the 230 sleeves had a step down on the bottom of the sleeve I'll look at some tommorow for sure
