Hi
I have been looking for a WW2 era lend lease tractor for some time and I've finally bought an Allis Chalmers model B,serial number B59169 which if I'm correct dates it to 1941.it has some wear and has some non original parts fitted which I'd like to replace with originals.I'm in the UK but I'm happy to pay shipping from the US so if anyone has any of the following they would like to sell please contact me.
Original seat frame and mounting parts.
Correct Carb.
Original owners manual.

Also I'd be most greatful if anyone could tell me the correct color my tractor should be.
Many thanks!
Matt.

Hi Matt, Just seen queries regarding your Model B,'Vintage Tractor Spares' located near Lutterworth Leics do have a list of parts they can supply (new) for the 'B', their tel No :- 01455 556784 they also have a web site where everything is listed, I don't no if you can order on line though. An original owners manual was recently auctioned on E-Bay(UK) for almost 30 they are hard to find.Good luck hope this helps.

Matt, make sure you have a US B, and not a British version of the B. Brit version has a EB serial number. Does it have a AC engine? Are the starter and generator DELCO or are they LUCAS. Brits made a "B" using many of the US parts, but not all. Our rear wheels, the cast portion, press onto splined shaft. Does yours press, or does it have lug nuts like a car (Brit version). --- the US color is pursian orange, one vendor is PPG paint 60080. can get at auto body shops.--- look on e-bay under "business" then "farm equipment", then type in "ALLIS" and scan thru it. there is a guy in New YOrk State that routinely tears dwon B tractors to sell parts, dont know if he ships overseas or not. IF you i can give you a couple other guys from teh mid west US that can help. --- [email protected]
