I have a track loader and was wondering were I can find the engine #, I believe it is a 7000 series as the serial # is 23156. It was probably built in 1963 or 64. It is a 4 cyl diesel. I would like to replace the sleves and pistons while motor is still in place with head off. any suggestions and info would be helpfull

I tried to remove the drake shoes from my allis chalmers hd7-g dozer,and could not get the bottom shoe to spin around the drum so it could be removed from the top, even though the ancor pins where removed. It seems that something on the bottom of the the housing is not allowing the pin mounts on the shoe to go through. Is there a trick or where can i get more information or even a manual
