Allis D-17 Series IV Propane vs. Gasoline

What are pros and cons for propane rather than gasoline? I'm a collector that would like to use it around the farmyard. Are there danger issues with using and filling a propane tank? Engine life? Collectibility of a D-17 Series IV on propane?

Just for laughs, with propane you could also run a barbeque off your tractor on the weekends. Try that with gas or diesel!

There are danger issues with anything, in my opinion there is no more danger issue with propane than gasoline.

I have an wd propane on the plus side engine runs cleaner, oil stays cleaner, engine life is longer more power they don't steal your gas
On neg side you have to have a propane tank with liquid fill hose,can't carry a can of fuel to the tractor, takes longer to fill
By the way I made a vapor pump to pump vapor out of tractor tank into storage tank when filling to speed up so don;t bleed off if not in a hurry will hook up liquid line and just leave it for awhile not bleed it will normaly go60%-70%in a couple of hours
