ca front end

Hey guys thought I would ask the pros cause Im new to AC. I am restoring a ca the front end on this Tractor is exactly like the wide front end on the b is this a change out or did they use that type of front end on 52 ca. All manuals I got shows a beefyer wide front end. Thanks Jay P.S. really starting to like the AC just as much as my 2 IH

The B, C, & CA fronts and rears were pretty much interchangeable at the bolt up between the transmission & torque tube. Most of the wide front CA's I've looked at for sale are B fronts bolted to CA rears. The tractor you're restoring is like that too if it has the "wishbone" wide front. Another givaway to be sure there is not some other combination of mixed parts is the steering arm, if its a B steering arm you have a B front tractor.

that front end is off a B it looks like the steering box is off a B also. the C and CA steering arm points up from the steering box. my B is just back word to yours I have a C wide front axle and steering box on my B want to trade.

If this is how your front axle looks it would not be for a CA. This one was only sold on the B"s.

C widefront isn't right either. But would work and look better than what you have.
