Need any advice on how to remove pump. What can I expect when I take the pump out of the tractor? Is it a gear driven pump? Do I need to mark anything on the way it comes out? Is there anything to unhook like a spring under the pump or a pin in a shaft? Also is rebuilding the pump something I can do? Any help I would appreciate, thanks...

What should a reasonable price be for a rebuild kit? My allis dealer cost is $184.00. Can I get one cheaper and where..... ..thanks for your help and advice.

Kinda simple setup. Nothing goes flying when you pull the pump out.

you just remove the 4 bolts and the pump slides out of the hole. it has two rollers shown in Dicks picture that move up and dwon on a cam shaft lobe. East to take out, can be rebuilt yourself, but pay attention to details and get a good photo or drawing of all parts. lots of springs, pins, shims, etc.

I took a few pictures while rebuilding one a while back. I am not sure where I poked them. I think there in my picture site somewhere. When I get some time I"ll hunt around.
