Diverter oil

My manual says non-detergant oil to be used in the power diverter on a D-15. Does anyone know if this is a must,or can a detergant oil be used ?

Detergent oil foaming causes problems.
If I recall, the original spec was for 20 W non-Detergent.
The newer "hytran" fluids work well for the older tractor like the D15. Check your local Tractor Supply, or farm store.
They should carry this oil and the label should state that it meets AGCO's spec.
Sam's carries it as well.
