Will pistons and sleeves for a wd45 work in a wc? I know the diameter will work but what about the wrist pin location? Thanks!

The wrist pin location in the wd45 pistons is 1/4 inch higher than in the wc's to compensate for the 45's 1/2 inch longer stroke. Therefore the 45 piston would be 1/4 inch too low at TDC making your compression ratio very low.

There are 7 different compression ratios that run from 4.5 : 1 low octane fuel to 7.25 : 1 for gasoline. the latter being for WD 45.

i believe if you keep the rods with the pistons they came with, you can change between blocks and not ahve to worry about the "height".
