AC D17 Distributor

Need some help on a D17, series 1 distributor. Really for a friend, I'm Farmall myself. What I'm looking for is an exploded view of his distributor. I'm finding it very hard to find any information at all. This is John Deere and Farmall country.
The problem is that the rotor seems to be too low and is draging on the plastic cover. It seems something is wearing down inside and I would rather see what I'm getting into before We tear it down.

Well, it's a Delco distributor. Very common and used on all old Chevrolets and probably other GM cars, too. Any auto parts store worth its salt should have parts diagrams.
