Can anyone give me the measurements for making a new Trans. Dipstick for my 160. I bought it used last year and somebody replaced the distick located next to gear selector with pipe plug. I would like to make one for it but I dont know lenth and fluid full add marks. Thank You

Tony, unlike the other replies, my 160 has a dipstick. It is 11 15/16" long from the bottom of the plug. It is a round rod with a flat spot that starts 2 1/4" up from the lower end of the rod and is about 1" long. I fill my trans until the fluid is in the middle of the flat spot. Also, this is what the Operators Manual shows as well. I can email you a picture of the rod if necessary. Good luck.

Tony, I checked my one-sixty. It is just a plug over the cover where you would add additional fluid, not a dipstick. There is a plug below the right foot rest that you check the fluid level from. If it is up to that level, you are full. I double checked the manual, also, and confirmed this. If you want a copy of some of the pages of the manual, I could email them to you. Dave

Tony, I'm not sure there was a dipstick there. Seems like it is just a plug. There is another plug on the right side down below where your foot would rest. When the fluid is coming out of that opening, you're transmission/hydraulic fluid level is full enough. I can double check with my one-sixty and manual this evening. If I forget or don't get back soon enough, send me an email to remind me. Dave
