Oil pressure on my ca is good until the oil gets hot then bottoms out. using 30 wt and have new bearings and oil pump. thanks What is going on?

If this happened right after you changed the oil filter, then yes you got one of the "wide open" oil filters as mentioned in the other replies.
However, if this came on slowly you have a mechanical problem, such as excessive bearing clearances, worn oil pump, loose oil pump cover ( this one actually happedned to me).
Install an oil pressure gauge of known good accuracy directly in the port in the block and see if it reads to spec. Use a gauge calibrated in lbs per inch, not the low-medium-high type.

might change the filter. this is a high restriction filter system. it causes back pressusre and keeps high pressure on the gauge. if the filter is low restriction type the oilflows thru to sump and loss of pressure. try a FRAM or BALDWIN and see it that helps. Do not use WIX.

Not sure on the CA, but most of the older AC's fed the cam bearings first. If the cam bearings are worn, there goes your oil pressure.
