Ok I"ve just about got my ca ready. But I still have a few problems. 1 The distributor drive and the governor have an oil line going to them but the distributor doesnt have any oil in the housing I am assuming the same with the governor as I have not pulled its housing open to check. If they are supposed to have oil in them, how much full, half full etc. And should I fill the housing prior to starting. I do have oil pressure so I should be getting oil to them but dont seem to be. I checked the line at the T above the governor and there is some oil there. 2 The engine will run but doesnt seem to want to accelerate and dies easily when I try to start in 3rd gear. the governor doesnt seem to be comphensating for the load. The carb is a new zenith and it is possible that I just dont have it adjusted right. Any advice on these conditions would be greatly apreciated.

if your carb has an ajustment on the bottom, turn it out half a turn or so untill it quits stalling under load

Thanks for the post Ed. I found I had too much tension on the throtle return spring and it was defeating the governor.
