Help! Identify this old tractor

I have an old Allis that I don't know how to identify. Can someone help me do that? I can E-mail a pic if that would help. Otherwise I'd like to learn how to find the model, etc.

starting about 1940--- the smaller B and C have 24 inch wheels in the rear and no main frame along the side of the motor. These have 3 speed transmissions. Updated CA is physically same size, but has a 4 speed. Serial numbers are by a flat boos next to transmission shift lever.--- The WC-WD- 45 have 28 inch rear wheels and a c-channel frame down each side and around the radiator. SErial number is on the rear alxe center pumpkin, or left brake cover area.
----- ---units built after 1960 were Dxx models. The serial number is behind left rear side of the motor where it bolts to the fly wheel housing. tractor number on the torque tube. engine sn on the motor.----- - this is a start, of course there are variations to the above.

In this window go to the upper left and click on Allis Chalmers (in white letters)
In the left hand column under PICTURES, click on "Allis Chalmers Shed".
That's where you can find pics of the diffent A/C tractors. Compare yours to those given.
If you then back up 1 page and under Information, click on Serial Numbers.
You should be able to match up your tractor to the s/n given there and it will tell you the year.
With this new information, you can make an entry in the Registry (also under Information) for your tractor.
Check out the whole site...there's a tremendous amount of valuble information available to all.
