I am wondering if anyone has a good source for parts for a sicklebar mower for a '39B. It's the later mower and I am looking for the wooden pitman rod, angled board at the end of the assy. and the spring that pulls the leveling assy catch pin down into the notches in the control comb. Sandy Lake has the rods but wants $132 for one... Am I stuck making one myself?

Thanks
Chris

Contact Rod(NH), he has a very nice print for making the swathboard... I think he posted it on here a while ago...

I had a sickle for my B which went down the road a long time ago. I recently was going through a shed and found the Pitman I rebuilt for that sickle, but never installed. It already has the Allis ends mounted on it. It may or may not be what you are looking for. I will dig it up again in the next few days and post a picture or two and see if it is what you want. It will take me a couple of days to get it and post some pictures.

If Chris doesn't want the pitman bar, let me know what you want for it and I will take it. Thanks Joel
