I have a 1962 D-17 Series II and want to put a front end loader on it. I have read that the hydraulic pump might not be compatible with some aftermarket loaders. I would appreciate any information on what brands and models to look for.

I have a 59 model D-17, this model has a high pressure low volume hydraulic pump,(not good for a loader). I recently purchased a industrial ford loader off of a early 60's model ford, (the yellow ones). This loader is a self contained unit and the pump runs off of the front of the crank pully. This gives you good loader response and true live hydraulics. You might look into getting a ford pump for availibilty reasons. With a few modifications, it will work on your D-17

I want to get one of the kits to work off the front end of my crank shaft on my D-17. Does any one know where these systems can be obtained.
