I buy my Fram C159 at TSC. Should be easy to get. I think most farm stores should have them.

Hi
Your same question is in the fourm arcives.
People have had the same problem for a long time.

Some filter cause a drop in oil pressure in the CA

This is an old list on Yesterday's Tractor, you can look it up if you want.
list of acceptable filters:

AC C412
AGCO Allis 240912 (corrected version)
Baldwin T300M
Fleetguard LF571
Fram C159
Hastings LF405
NAPA 1101 (old design ONLY)
WIX 51101 (old design ONLY)

If you can not find a filter on the list
I have two Fram C159 for sale
Harold

12-15 is good. some running with 5 for a long time. it iwll run with 4, but telling you it will need attention sometime. make sure the gauge is good, oil is clean and what viscosity? i use 10w30. some of the oil is blead off to the filter and then dumped back to sump. not cleaned and run thru the motor. if you have a "bad" filter that passes too much flow, it will drop the pressure. get a good filter Baldwin or Fram and install and try that with a new gauge.
