I have a 44 B that when it starts it will runn great for about in hour as it did yesterday plowing. Than I shut it off for lunch than came out to start and than it sputterted and missed like crazy. The only change I made befor starting her was I added more gas to the tank. I used just 87 octane gas in it. Can anyone help me and dose anyone have the service setting for the carborator adjustments?

Dave,
If you didn't crank the fuel petcock shut on the sediment bulb, you might have just simply fouled a plug. If you leave the fuel valve open, sometimes fuel will creep by an older needle valve raising the fuel up in the float bowls just enough to splash a plug when firing it up again. If you have Champion plugs in it, it's sure to foul. Might be more than one fouled. If it's mag fired, it could have coil saturation if it's a Fairbanks, and has an original tar/taped coil inside and is misfiring. We offer mag repair and services along with rebuilding if you suspect it might be the mag..... ...

Sounds like a mag getting hot. Check condenser or the coil.
