What does 1D214 serial number mean ? The equipment is a AC road grader. That"s pretty much all the technical I know about it.

I will take a guess that the D is for the small D grader built about 1950? The tube from the operators compartment to the front axle was a round pipe, maybe 8 inches in diameter?? sound familiar. I think the D used the same gas engine as the WD45. If the grader does not look like that, im no more hlep.

upon farther review the correct serial # is 1E214, what does this tell us?

that dont help much. what does it look like? size of tires, width of blade? motor size? how old do you think it is? pre 1970? pre 1950? what kind of hydraulics? battery size? round or squared off sheetmetal?

rounded sheet metal, manual brakes, 4 cylinder gas with magneto, 6 volt system, 13.00X20 rear tires, crank in front to manually rotate engine which appears to be locked up. 2 flat tires from sitting for at least 5 years that I know of, maybe longer, seat is offset to the right of tractor, blade approx. 9 foot long, 2 huge adjustment wheels to raise or lower either side of the blade, 3 or 4 speed transmission ???, Don't know but would like to know,
year, make, model, how many produced and where built. As is value, how scarce or how much interest is there in a road grader, See tractor Photos for PICTURE. Thanks.
