i just installed a delco one wire alternator and took my mag off and i"m putting a distributor on. with 12 volt wich coil wire goes to the points the - or +. thanks in advance for the help. jason

Jason,
Plus (+) side to the key switch, minus side to the distributor on 12V negative ground systems. Make sure you run the correct ohm coil and or ballest resistor for proper current and ohms of resistance for the system. If you don't, you'll have oodles of problems. We have the correct internal resistor coils in stock if you need one..

thanks steve. I bought a coil that lists the AC 170 180 190 and d-19 on the back and i am putting a resistor inline between that and the points. will this be ok? thanks, Jason

You really don't want to put the resistor between the points and the coil. Reason being that the voltage will not flow from the coil to the condensor unimpeded as it would if the resistor were not there. I'd put the resistor before the coil.
