Clutch Disc

I ordered and received a remanufactured clutch disc from the local Agco dealer and it is shaped significantly different than my original equipment disc currently in the tractor. This replacement disc has 4 quadrants with raised pads! Each pad has approximatly 2 square inches of clutch material in the segment. An orange decal affixed to the new disc says Hy Capacity! Before I split the tractor to replace the disc, I would like confirmation that this type of disc is a suitable replacement for the OEM disc. When I ordered the replacement disc I gave him the serial number D17-33383 for my tractor. The reason I am asking, is that there has to be fewer square inches of actual clutch surface area with the replacement and I am concerned with adequate performance in tough pulls.

Thanks for your help!

Don, believe it or not the disc they sold you is the heavy duty disc with ceramic buttons. It will hold a bunch better than the other clutch disc, and out wear it three to one. Okie

Dear Okieboy, You just made my day. I am real happy to hear that this is a better clutch disc and it kinda makes up for the miserable Packer Game I attended last Sunday afternoon in Green Bay.
