Starter seems to be bad, full charge on new battery and I'm lucky I get more than a click. Turns very slow when it does turn. All cables cleaned. This starter has been rebuilt twice before. Should I be looking to buy a new one now? If so, any suggestions where I should look for one?

Thanks, Bob

You may already know these but, just in case.....
(1) A good quality group 30H, or better yet, a group 31, is a necessity for long starter life and long (ether-free) engine life in this tractor. (Automobile batteries don't have the 'reserve minutes' to provide the required cranking speed against diesel compression, even if they have great 'cold cranking amps'). (2) Starter failing to actuate when it should is often caused by a poor connection in the key switch circuit (i.e. loose or corroded rivets/terminals). Check at the pto and clutch safety switches, key switch, all terminals and connectors. Good luck.
