My daddy passed away and I aquired an AC.I found some numbers,but I'm not sure of what it is.Tractor #395,might be an 8 after the 395.Left side of trans. case,a C with an L thru it.Under that,207611 and under that,CL CA K P.On the right side of motor,AM 2976 37.

Jim, you didn't say where the 395 or 3958 is located. (Sometimes the numbers are hard to read because they're filled with years of paint, dirt, grease, etc. You may have to clean it off to read it.) The serial number should be on top of the transmission case, in front of the shift lever. There should be a letter or letters in front of the number to tell whether the tractor is Model B, C, CA, etc.) Once you're sure of the serial number and model, you can look it up on the YT website and find the year.

Steve,thanks for the reply.I should have been more specific,the tractor# is on top of the trans.,it is CA395?.If I did it right on the site,I come up with 1951 year model.Did I do it right?I'm new at this mess,need all the help I can get!!Thanks again,Jim
