Looking at one the neighbor has for sale, this one has a pan seat something like what would be on a MH44, but the ones I"ve seen have the bench style making it hard to get on from the rear. This one is accessible.Paint looks original and appears to be a factory mount. The B is a "48.Did they come with pan seats? Dan in AB

I think those seats were after market seats that were made to fit a C or B by bolting to the four bolts on the differental. I have one if any body is interested and wants it.

Tim I dont know how to get a hold of you except this way. About the pan seat it is in good solid condition except for paint. I wont want very much, I am more interested in someone getting it that will use it. I do not have a picture of it but if you want any more information you can call me at 1-309-697-0138

I have a '50 B that came from the dealer with a Monroe Seat. It is a pan seat mounted on a saddle bracket that fits over the transmission. There is a coil spring directly under the seat and a small shock absorber (Monroe) running diagonally from under the seat to near the pivot point. It was originally painted red when we got it, but is orange now.

It was not factory, but dealer installed option. Perhaps this is what you have.

ALL Allis B and C came with the bench seat. Some have installed the CA pan seat or others over the years. Some dealers may have installed the CA seat on the later Bs.. NOt the factory.
