What do you folks use in your Allis B"s for spark plugs? I just bought a B today, and I use Champion in everything else that I have, tho it"s not essential. (Use D21 in my Farmall etc..) Thanks for any help folks.

Jeff,
We have over 100 295's in stock if ya need em'. We also carry NGK B4, & B6S. Both brand plugs work great in the AC machines. BTW- We do have about 40 303's in stock to. They're for Jimmy. LOL!! Just kiddin' Jim! Some of our customer's like the 303's also...

NGK B-4 plugs work great. I have used them in my '42B for years.

tru autolite platinum AP85 plugs, we use them in our b and c and have nothing but good results.

If I remember correctly, the Autolite 295 plugs are used in the AC Bs with the mags and the 303 plugs are used in the distributor versions. Steve @ B&B Custom or Jim @ OK Tractor would be able to confirm and probably have them in stock.

Use Autolite 295. AC Delco 45 used to be the best but aren"t made any more.

Im not sure if they make the AC delco 45 anymore but I was able to buy 4 of them the other day at my local Auto store (NAPA). I just put them in my AC B and it ran alot better with them, I took the junk champions and tossed them. Chad

Hey Chad,
I read your response about the model B plugs. What caught my eye is the photo of your model B. It's a beauty. I'm in the early phases of restoring a '39 model B. Is there any chance that I could a rear view photo of your tractor to go along with the one you posted?

Someone had changed the original seat & framework so I'm looking for a good pattern to follow. Nice tractor Chad.

yes the 295 is the new accepted "standard" by most guys. if you cant find locally , look for STEVE at B&B Custom.
